Does soon mean mean a release this or next week?
Our Hyper-V CSVs are running on StoreVirtual appliances and therefore the migration of our infrastrucutre also depends on StoreVirtual compatibility. When will HPE release a new MPIO for DSM driver or at least confirm that the existing driver is compatible with Windows Server 2016?
I was told it should be available next monday... we will see.
With RAID5 on a G7 I assume that you have hot swappable drives with the cache module installed on the RAID card? Run the Array Configuration Utility (ACU) to diagnose the array and determine which bay the drive is in. HP Insight Diagnostics and iLO both have the ability to turn the UID LED on to identify the drive if you are not sure which bay it is in. Exit the utilities and swap the out the bad drive. Then run ACU again to diagnose the array and the rebuild process should start. (This can take quite some time depending upon the size of the drives.)
Remember that any time you are working with the hard drives, you should always have a good backup of all data on hand.

I am using iLO Rest API(PYTHON) to get server information back, but I wanna to upgrade each firmwares. do you know how can I do to upgrade firmware automatically. does it has a way to do that? I know HP SUM command line can upgrade them, but how can I remote to control it, and get log info back?

How can i choose the default disk drive to boot on the same controller ? B120 Raidcontroller is off, i dont use this feature..
I can see in the the Setup only a standard boot order like different devices like usb stick, cdrom, floppy or different controller etc. , but not different disk drives ?
whats wrong here ? Any ideas ?
Looks like an issue with the firmware or hidden options elsewhre.

No, it's not (only) about the Product Warranty...it's about having a valid HPE Support Contract at the moment you need to download some updates, if a HPE Support Contract is expired or wasn't renewed...some (not all) downloads are not permitted anymore (as example: SystemROM BIOS or HPE SPP Service Pack for ProLiant).
Hi! So I have recently started to have this problem with my monitor... after it goes into sleep mode and the status LED turns amber, when I go to wake it up the status LED starts blinking blue and the monitor won't wake up. Somewhere between 5 and 45 minutes after that, it will often just come on by itself. I've checked all the cables and connections; I also ran the STFC and it was fine. Any ideas on what's causing this problem?

디스크를 SSD로 Raid 0 또는 Raid 1로 사용하려 합니다.
들리는 얘기로는
컨트롤러 캐시가 SSD캐시보다 빠르다고 하여
Smart Path를 사용하지 말라고 HPE 서비스 센터에서 권고 했다고 하는데
해당 ISSUE를 잘 찾을수가 없네요.
과연 SSD의 Raid 0 또는 Raid 1 사용시 Smart Path를 키는것이 좋은지 꺼야 하는것인지 애매합니다.
참고로 HPE P440 매뉴얼에는 3페이지에는

Voici mon problème : Serveur hp proliant ML350e
impossible d'accèder à la partition c:, elle est complétement invisible. Je voulais changer le mot de passe administrateur avec la méthode Windows; pb pas d'accès à c:\windows\system32. Installé avec smart array B120i, je me demandais s'il y a une manip pour masqué/caché/crypté cette partition c:. Le serveur s'allume, m'affiche bien la page de login mais rien de plus. J'ai essayé de voir le contenu du disque avec une clé USB mais rien à faire, le disque reste invisible même si je charge le driver du controleur RAID smart array B120i, il ne trouve pas le disque. Et donc, je voulais éventuellement réinstaller l'OS mais avec cette peur de ne pas voir le disque.

I have added 2 new drives (used from other system do there is data on them). I do not see how to wipe the data. On my Dell server I can initilize the disk which will wipe it. I do not see this or any option. I am using the B120i controller. I go to F5 to get into it. I created each disk using RAID0. I tried deleting and recreating the RAID but that is no wiping the data. I am trying to use these 2 drives for Vmware VSAN. They must be clean drives for this to work.
Any help is appreciated.
Ok so I'm not going to drag this out. Long story short got a new DL380 G5 a few days ago and got it running. Today I've tried to access the iLO with no success. All three browsers (IE11,Firefox,Chrome) Keep saying the cert is unsecured and it wont let me continue to the site anyway. There is not button to continue as there usually is. I've tried looking into fixing via SSH but that aint going to work. I've updated the firmware and still nothing. Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you have any news regarding the update?
We updated one of our HP ProLiant DL380 Gen8 server to Windows Server 2016 and waiting for the corresponding drivers. Exept the GPU and and a Base System Device, everything is recognized.
I downloaded the SPP 2016.10 today, looks like server 2016 is included.
But we have to wait for the documentation.
Consider to run HPSUM.
