the ML10 and ML10 v2 are both BIOS based systems
HP DL180G6 用hpacucli收集日志,解压zip包后很多内容都是16进制的,无法阅读。 网上查了一下,早期有提供adu reader用于解析,但是现在都找不到了。 不知道有没有其他方法。
正常解析完应该像这样:

My first suggestion would be to run an Array Diagnostics report
Just wanted to add that I installed Win 2012 directly from CD then proceeded with the Online Update using SPP.
is this server compatible with graphic card?
because i want to run HPC job on my server using garphic it may work faster than CPU.
I need to change the SNTP settings on an iLO with PowerShell. To do this, I first need to use Set-HPiLOIPv6Networking to disable SNTP from IPv6. Then I need to use Set-HPiLONetworking to configure the SNTP settings (because the iPv6 cmdlet does not include SNTP settings - only to disable it).
The problem is both of these cmdlets automatically restart the iLO after running. So after disabling IPv6 SNTP, it restarts the iLO before you can run the IPv4 cmdlets to set SNTP - and this makes scripting the whole process a pain.
Is there a way to supress the restart of the iLO in the IPv6 cmdlet? I looked throught the help for it and I dont see anything, but maybe I am missing something.
Thanks
NK
Both servers were running their fans at high speed again yesterday. HP System Management Homepage reported no problems, however the iLO log file reports dozens of "Power restored to iLO" caution messages.
The only way to stop the fans running at high speed was to power cycle the servers.
The fans are now running at normal speed and there have been no more "power restored to iLO" messages.
There is an HPE advisory c04703868, but refers to an older iLO firmware.
Any suggestions/comments ?
Thanks
Unlike the DL380 Gen8, the Quickspec for the DL385 Gen8 do not list any optional grahics cards or the cables required to power them.
Not sure what is causing the error message you are seeing, but when iLO gets into an unknown or error state the fans will ramp up to high speed
I would disconnect the power button and check for any shorts (closed circuit). An experienced technician could also manually bridge the power switch pins to test the motherboard. You also need to check the BIOS settings as most system BIOS have an option to automatically power on after a power failure and that would cause the system to power on when the power cord is plugged in.
Thanks, interesting to know the fan speed ramps up wihen there is a problem with the iLO.
Whilst investigating the iLO status on both servers, I also noticed "Embedded Flash/SD-CARD: Embedded media manager failed initialization" errors.
I have followed advisory c04996097 and reformatted the NAND device - something I didn't do when I updated the iLO firmware to 2.44
I now see green ticks on all subsystems and devices.
Fingers crossed!

ILO read the temperature sensors and control the fan speed depending on these values. WIthout ILO control (or without temperature values from a sensor) the fans will go at high speed.
You can see/hear this for example when upgrading smart array firmware during the controller reset.
The issue you have seen will force the ILO to restart or not come up, hence the ILO cannot slow down the fans.
Could this very recent thread be of any help to you?
Is this the same system that you mentioned here in 2013?

Hi Again,
We still have the issue on both servers. Since they are running TS2012 RDS, they are scheduled to restart @ 23:00 very night (at IT Manager's request).
This morning both servers were running high speed fans. Below is an extract of the iLO event log this morning from one of the servers.
Both servers quietened down following the "Rest API memory cleared" message

Any other suggestions on how to resolve this problem? Both servers are identical in age and specification.
Thanks.
Try to use HP Array Configuration Utility command line version (CLI) if not help try any compatibility mode.
