I don't see anything about mixing between circuit types. I am expecting that could do this since they are auto sensing. Just wondering if "walking" it over is ok to do, or if someone may have done it?

Hi Suman
Thanks for your respond. Unfortunately update didn't solve the issue. I have also upgrade SSP and still nothing

Re: DL360p Gen8 - ILO 4 "close" port 80
I've run across this same issue and was wondering if there was a solution to disable the non-SSL port setting. Also, if this can be set to something that disables the non-SSL port does that hamper the use of the iLO in any way?
Re: ProLiant ML110 Gen9 Performance
Chris27 This happen because the 3rs HD, don't have firmware HPE.
Try use equipment in Legacy Bios and Disable B140i controler (enable, ahci) in BIOS monde
LEGACY BIOS
From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration → BIOS/Platform Configuration
(RBSU) → Boot Options → Boot Mode and press the Enter key.
2. Select a setting and press the Enter key:
o Legacy BIOS Mode—Configures the system to boot to a traditional operating system in Legacy
BIOS compatibility mode.
DISABLE B140I
From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration → BIOS/Platform Configuration
(RBSU) → System Options → SATA Controller Options → Embedded SATA Configuration →
Enable SATA AHCI Suppor, and then press the Enter key.

Re: HP Proliant DL360 gen9 with Smart Array P440ar Controller and 4x SSD in RAID 10 slow performance
Any update on what might cause this aside from "SmartPath" and caching on disk versus using the controller cache.

Red Hat 7 cannot recognize ethernet adapter on DL380P G8
Hello community, I have a Proliant HP DL380P with the following network adapters:
- NetXtreme BCM5719 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe (Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331FLR Adapter)
- 82580 Gigabit Network Connection (NC365T 4-port Ethernet Server Adapter)
I installed Red Hat 7.2 but it recognizes only the NetXtreme adapter. Every cable/interface connected to the other adapter (82580) is not recognized by the OS. How can I solve this?
lspci show the following error:

can you provide more information?
You've installed the drive in the proper drive carrier?
When running the array configuration utility, the P410i doesn't see an unassigned drive?
Are you just installing the drive and expecting it to show as available in the OS?
Replacing memory and BBWC on a Smart Array P410i
Hi,
We wan to replace the 256Mb memory cache module by a 512Mb memory cache module with a BBWC battery on a Smart Array P410i on a HP DL380 G6.
Here are the steps we will follow :
- Power off the server.
- Remove the 256Mb module.
- Install the 512Mb module.
- Add the BBWC battery.
- Power on the server.
Here are my questions :
- Is there a risk of loosing RAID configuration during the operation (when removing the 256Mb module) ?
- Is there anything to do before (or after) doing thoses actions (a backup of the server will be done before the operations) ?
Thanks for your answers.
Best regards,

Re: DL360 Gen9 Server Platform Services Firmware requires update
Short update. We updated the server with the spp2018.06 but nothing changed.
Re: ProLiant DL380 G7 - Can't detect new SAS drives
wrote: Are the drives definitely Gen specific and not (-/+)1 gen compatible? Other ones I've seen don't have that limitation.
EDIT: HP after a few days have now told me that the drives are not supported for Gen7...they probably read your post!
Not really a limitation of the drive itself, it is the carriers that are different
Re: HP PROLIANT HP system Management

Re: Did ML150 G6 receive a microcode update?
It's affected unit. The processor for this unit is listed in Intel's notes even if HP is not listing it anywhere on their site.
According to this link:
https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/sa00115-microcode-update-guidance.pdf
The microcode for that unit is in Production which means there should be a BIOS update on the HP side. I'm not sure what the hold up is, but I'm still waiting on an answer, too.
